Your article didn’t mention how these items will be recycled… In the past, it was reported that many of the USA’s recycled electronics end up in Africa in toxic dump sites, affecting indigent children as well as adults. Any chance of a followup with information on HOW they will be recycled?
Renee:
The two cities have done their due diligence with ERS to make sure that all of the electronics will be recycled in North America. If you have any further questions please contact Electronics Recycling Services at 714-513-0000 or info@erecyclingservices.com. Thank you for your concern.
