Temperatures are expected to rise to the low 80s in time for Thanksgiving, and dry weather will bring a slight increase in wildfire danger, the National Weather Service says.
Inland Orange County could see temperatures in the mid 70s today, climing to the high 70s Tuesday and perhaps as high as 81 Wednesday and Thursday as light winds push toward the ocean.
That, plus dry weather, will mean a moderate increase in wildfire risk, said National Weather Service meteorologist Tina Stall, though mainly in San Diego County.
“It’s going to be windy in the usual wind-prone areas — canyons, passes, foothills,” she said. “Those areas are going to be more at risk than the valleys and coasts.”
By Friday, temperatures should drop back into the upper 60s and low 70s.

Darnit! There goes the outfit I planned on wearing!
Yuck. Does anyone living in Socal not care that we haven’t had rainfall in years? it worries me. I hate hot weather, year round. I think I need to move to a place with real seasons one of these days.
I appreciate no crazy winters but this is just unnatural.
Thisisnotanexit, It will probably be colder @ night so maybe you still can. I still need to figure out what I am going to wear. Dry in California, whats new?
I am bummed also. I like when it at lease feels like Fall on Turkey Day. Time to move up to the mountains where you actually have seasons.
I agree. I don’t want 4th of July weather on Thanksgiving or Christmas. At least it gets cool at night.
Good thing I am cooking two beer can turkey’s on the grill!
